Understanding ICS Part Numbers — A Guide to Cascadian Filter Systems

Since launching in 2011, our Integrated Cartridge Solutions (ICS) have evolved through continuous innovation. Every change aims to make water treatment simpler, more effective, and environmentally responsible. This page helps you decode ICS part numbers and find replacement filters for older systems.

How Our ICS Part Numbers Work

Our part numbers are designed to clearly indicate what treatments your system provides. After the “ICS-” prefix, each letter represents a type of filtration:

  • S — Sediment
  • I — Iron / Manganese
  • P — PolyHalt® for softening, stain prevention, and corrosion protection
  • T — Taste & Odor (chlorine and VOC reduction)
  • H — Hydrogen Sulfide (rotten egg odor)
  • CT — Cartridge Tank for high flow, light commercial use
  • U — Point-of-Use for sinks, RVs, and appliances

When ordering replacement filters, simply add a “K” to your system’s part number (e.g., ICS-PICS-PK) to indicate a replacement kit.

ICS Part Number History and Cross Reference

Over time, we’ve introduced enhancements that reduce system size and environmental impact while delivering the same (or better) performance. If your ICS system uses an older part number, use the table below to find the current part number and replacement kit.

ICS-P06 / ICS-P12 ICS-P None ICS-PK
ICS-P12H ICS-PH None ICS-PHK
